I made the mistake of creating a semi-normal face offset. This art project would probably be a bit more true-to-Picasso if I had not made a sample… my half-dozen and seven yr olds had fun interpreting cubism in their own way.

How To Make These DIY Picasso Inspired Christmas Ornaments

Step 1

Use the toothpicks to "cut" new pieces of dirt off the blocks. We tried our fingers, merely the remnants of color on our fingertips bled onto the colour we were breaking off. The darker colors are very vibrant a little goes a long way if you are mixing colors together.
